This feature's goal is to allow you to link one of your items (Item A) from your catalog to other items (Item B & C), this way when you use Item A in one of your guidelines, Item B & C will appear on the guideline export.
It can be used for example in two cases:
- If a fixture is placed in a guideline, in this guideline’s export we will see with this fixture, ten screws and a led lamp that are necessary.
- If a makeup grid is placed in a guideline, we will see all the products that must be placed on it in this guideline's export.
- If a basket is placed in a guideline, you will see all the products inside it on the guideline's export.
If you have the rights to manage the catalog of your platform, follow the instructions below.
1 Go to Modify sheet in the item sheet or via the Actions menu
2 Scroll down to the section Linked items and click on "Manage linked items".
3 A pop-up will open and you can search your items by name or by code.
4 Select the checkbox for the items that you want to link to the item that you are editing.
5 When you use the item in a guideline and select it, check the Properties menu in the right side of the editor and click in the tab Linked items. All items linked will appear and you can modify the quantities as you need.
6 The items linked and quantities chosen will appear in your export under the main item
- Here you are creating the link between the items, so you can keep the quantities as 0 if you want
- Or if you have standard quantities, you can set the up with the
icons or write the number directly in the box
- Click on Confirm in the pop-up and then Save your item sheet

The quantities defined here in the Item sheet can be edited in each guideline, but will be the standard ones that will appear every time you place this item in your guideline.
HOW DOES IT LOOK IN THE EXPORT?
The linked items will be displayed on your export. Items linked will be right next to the original item and delimited by a blue bar. You will also be able to see the quantity of item is linked to the original product.
